or get the old style and just replace the antenna! Oh wait, sorry.
I read where another guy modified the base of the antennae mount instead of compromising integrity of snorkel and it worked great. That is what I will likely do until I put a stationary antennae on so I dont have to remember to lower it on trail if I want some tunes. 
Along with dealing with the factory antenna you also need a 4** 1/2" hole saw for the install.

That was me who did that! Haha and I will be testfittig an antenna from am 07 tundra. I'll update you guys on the fitment of the mast on the 100 base

In Spain, the 100 series have the radio antenna in the right side and we must modify the new Safari Snorkel (new design) to adapt... in the next link you have some photos of my HDJ 100 with the new Snorkel Safari mounted (and modify...)

Quick question for the guys who have been running their snorkels for many years in rainy conditions, has heavy rain ever been an issue and caused water to go inside the snorkel?
