Awe! I miss my golden york, he is at the vet getting fixed at the moment. My family has had goldens since 82 and our other golden shadow is getting really old(15 years to be exact) and we cherish everyday we have with him. Goldens for life!

This is Jacob, our +3 yr old purebred East Carolina dog. We pulled him from the county shelter 2 yrs ago and he's turned out to be a superb companion.

This is Rudy, we suspect he's just under 3 yrs. He was found March 2009 running loose in the country, weighed just 18 lbs and had some scars, we adopted him July 2009. We love this little lunk, even with the issues he has. This little guy truly appreciates everything and let's us know.

And the 2 muttonheads together - best friends.

these are my two buddies, Cruiser is the bigger boy and Billie is the female. Cruiser is 10 now with really bad hips but a HUGE "pet me" baby.
Billie is 3 and the mother of the house. if anyone raises a voice or is pain then she is there with her big eyes.

they are both well behaved, well loved. when Cruiser passes, Billie will be a changed girl. recently i took Billie for a walk just the two of us and she stuck to my heals but when Cruiser is along she is all over the bush exploring. He is her big brother.

i have had dogs for 50 years now and just can not picture life without one.

Interesting combo! Raw veggies are about the only thing our boy seems to disdain. Put a cheese sauce on them though, and all bets are off. Despite the speed at which he consumes his food, he is often quite adept at determining the subtle difference in texture between kibble and "meds". We frequently find his thyroid pill sitting neatly on the floor beside his empty food bowl.
