Here is Chance, a springer spaniel/labrador mix. He is 52, or 7 1/2 years, depending...
I owe this dog my life...more than once. He dug me out of an avalanche while backcountry skiing between Durango and Silverton, CO a few year back.
Less than a year ago I was jumped by 4 people (1 a girl) outside of a bar (2 of them people I knew/know) and just happened to be walking the dog around out of the truck, and had him tied up out front of the bar.
Once the fight started, he started to freak out and chewed through the leash to jump in. He was mauling people left and right and drug one of them half a block away! We were so pi$$ed about this shat that we walked around the block, back infront of the bar, and re-engaged the b-a-s-tards. One of the images I remember when all four were coming back at me after re-engagement was Chance grabbed one by the arm and mauled the sheeit out of 'em...
Seeing as how none of the 20 or 30 people standing around watching had any balls to jump in, I figure he saved my skin during that one and was certainly the last thing they thought was gonna happen was that a dog was gonna jump into the mix!

This is Ipo. Ipo is a fxxxing Chinese Pug.
Actually, Ipo is a worthless piece of s***. He sheds like crazy, farts acid gas, snores like Ernest Borgnine, pisses on nearly everything, and s***s on everything else. He is destructive, thieving, growling, biting, cat-fight losing, cat-s***-eating, rabbit-torturing, 2 am howling, 3 am barking, 4 am blanket-stealing, vet bill running dickhead with a heart of pure, black coal.
I'd have him put down, but I kind of love him.

This is Truk & CeCe. Truk is the newest addition to the family. He is a Blue Nose Pittbull 7 wks old, CeCe is our 2 yr old Rottweiler. They love riding in the 62.

Catahoula and Lab mix I rescued at 3mos old. Warned of their high energy and destructive nature, I now wonder about the source of this info. He herds more naps than anything else and choses not to expend any energy unless absolutely necessary.

Introducing Lucy!
We rescued her from a shelter when we were living in Phoenix.
She is a pain in the ass, but she is also my best friend.
The picture with the cast's is after she had surgery for elbow dysplasia. After that bill, all I can say is YES to pet insurance!
And last but not least, her favorite position! She is definitely not a lady!
