Well I guess I can't be a fly on the wall forever .Some people know me as rosey and some as jody.I have been building landcruisers off and on for 5 years .I have built 4 fully custom 4 link trucks and restored and customized at least 15 other cruisers from 40's 60's and 70's.I am the owner operator of Roseys Custom Metalworks Ltd. in Coquitlam B.C. I used to contract myself out to other bussinesses but got tired of them putting their names on trucks that I built .I came to a point and decided to start my own business .I have mostly been building hotrods for the past year and a half but have recently been hired to restore some Japanese imported 40's. I have finished 4 trucks and have 3 more in different stages of paint and tub instals.
I did finish a truck of my own 2 years ago ,I had it out at the cruiser days in langley It was the tan BJ42 and I was very suprised that they awarded me the best in show award and the truck wasn't finished yet.I only got to drive the truck for ten days and had to sell to raise some money for a warehouse.I Loved that truck and my kids want me to build them another .
I daily drive a 89 FJ60 and own 1 , 79 BJ40 ,2 75 FJ40's and another BJ60 and 40 parts rigs.None of the 40's are drivable all need something from rust issues to motors but it is time to liquidate some of my leftover parts.I am going to build a 40 this summer but everything else will go.
So that is my intro ,I was told to check this site out by a fellow cruiser lover and I'll have to thank him the site looks deadly and full of info. Cheers and happy wheelin

Welcome to Mud. Sounds like you have the beginings of a pretty nice collection, i'm sure all of us here on Mud would love to see pics of your rigs and maybe some more info on your buildup of your 42.

Kevin

I saw your tan BJ42 at that cruiser days and it was worthy of best in show.I believe that I will be visiting your shop a time or two in the near future.
You need to post some pics so that other mudders can see your work.
Oh,and don't be a stranger at the next cruiser days this August(Date and location to be announced).

Well i will try to get my pictures together .I am doing a couple of full resto's on Japanese Imports BJ42's they are looking beautiful. Thanks for the chat back .

some shop pictures

I hate to sound computer stupid but ,can somebody tell me how to get pictures on this thread. What is a url and how do I get it to take my pictures:doh:

dude, a url is a website link; example www.ih8mud.com.

just use the "attach" feature provided by ih8mud to upload your pics directly from folders that exist on your computer.

P.S. it's always a good idea to resize the pics and make them a little smaller

 I think I have it .I was trying to use the insert image icon and I could't get past the url stage thanks.any ways I'll put a few shots of the truck I'm restoring right now .BJ42 right hand drive factory air power steering and full floater axle it is turning out really nice.
well now I have to figure out how to shrink the file size

Please post that cruiser porn!!! Welcome o MUD.
