Calfj60: That's my version of an interior tire carrier. That one mounted to the verticle support s behind the rear quarter trim panel. I reinforced it with some plywood inside the quarter panel. I've recently built another one from 1" steel square tube that mounts through the floor and to the sheet metal below the rear window (no pics of that one yet). Although I'm picking up my new bumper with tire carrier tomorrow, my truck won't fit into my garage with the tire on the bumper, so I'll keep the tire inside for every-day driving around.calfj60 said:Hey mbb,
