Very common in Isuzu Troopers, and nearly identical as the LC ones. Run out and get yours today! (for only $5 from a u-pullit)
I had a Trooper springy base mounted in my (former) FJ40 for a while. Comfy and fun. However, they do NOT play nicely with 5-point harnesses. The seat changes height over bumps, but the belts don't. My legs and shoulders took a lot of abuse before I reinstalled the stationary base. :D

here are some shots. Not actually exactly what it looks like right now, but pretty close.

that plate, by the way, is a chunk cut out of a 49 cent black plastic clipboard.

and here is a shot of our roller drawer in action. More of an outside than interior shot, but it does show the drawer, mostly

Does anyone have a pic of their interior Durabaked, Herculined, Line-Xed, Rustoleumed, etc.? I searched and it looks like any pics that showed it were wiped with the switchover to new layout.

I'm too ashamed. I pulled the carpet about three years ago because of the stench from a windshield gasket leak and never put it back down. Bare blue with the black "adhesive" pads and a lot of golden retriever hair is all I got. Line-x probably very soon though. I'll take pics then.
haha so i am not the only one i pulled mine cause previous owner sank it backing his boat into the lake. i have a custom 1" thick dirt floor courtesyof my size 13's and pit bull hair to give it texture..... as a side note when i had my rear axle apart doing gearsit was parked for a few weeks and i discovered 3 small plants growing in the rear floor board area.

Calfj60: That's my version of an interior tire carrier. That one mounted to the verticle support s behind the rear quarter trim panel. I reinforced it with some plywood inside the quarter panel. I've recently built another one from 1" steel square tube that mounts through the floor and to the sheet metal below the rear window (no pics of that one yet). Although I'm picking up my new bumper with tire carrier tomorrow, my truck won't fit into my garage with the tire on the bumper, so I'll keep the tire inside for every-day driving around.

I don't remember seeing that in the $50 mod thread!

Keep the pictures coming guys. I am a new 60 owner with a trashed interior and currently rebuilding the inside of the wagon.

I'll update mine some

Fishing rod holder using a quickfist. Also put in multiple eye bolts for attaching bungees, straps, etc. Used the rear shoulder bolt locations to add bolts with eyes welded on.

Uncle Mikes seat organizer. I just got this and love it. Keeps all my maps, guidebooks, camera, GPS, water, etc in easy reach.

Great thread. I enjoy seeing what others are doing with their interiors.

I added ABS interior panels. Cut and lifted the headliner to expose the interior metal trim. When I go camping I add a cargo platform for my Pelican cases and fridge. I'm in the process of removing my back seat and converting the rear of the rig to a dedicated camping truck.

Good luck!

Britklr - I like the ABS. What did you use to rivet the panel onto the tailgate?

I use these Auveco nylon fasteners that I get from a local automotive supplier. They just push in and remove easily so I can still access the space behind the panels.

Good luck.
