And Im trying to figure out best way to bring wires into the cab(through the roof) Whats the best path to bring wiring in? Im leary about guessing the best path to bring wires thru.

Why a lightbar on the roof? Are you going to black out the hood then also or at least flatten the paint? Roof mounted light bars look cool, but aren't really terribly useful unless you flat black or flatten the paint on the hood. As far as wiring goes, that's going to depend on what year 80 you have and where on the roof and how you want to mount it. Also, are you ok putting holes in the main cab of your rig that are likely to develop leaks and rust/cancer over time?

This is the rig, its already flat OD green that shine is gone, AND I dont have any good options as far as bumper mounted because it will interfere with regular lights. itch lights are out because here in northeast trails are super rocky and tight, alredy lost housing to passenger mirror yesterday. and finally I do lots of night manuveurs so max light is helpful

I have lights on my INTI rack. I have them tilted a click up. When I had them parallel (flat) they threw too much light on the windshield and hood. And my hood is rustoleum flat black. They are less glarey now.

I was going to run the wiring through a Heyco plug. Decided not to. I'm going to run the wiring through the snorkel. For now it is duct taped! Been that way for four months. When I monstaline and install the snorkel I will change it.

To reduce glare on the hood, mount the lights farther back on the roof. Or, mount them on the hood, as silly as that sounds.

Look at the gland nuts used by @98 SNAKE EATER as mentioned above. Make sure to coat the openings where you drill with POR15 or similar to reduce the possibility of rust.

Since you have a snorkel, your fender has already been drilled, so drilling another hole there wont be an issue. Then just route the wires along the a pillar ziptied or clamped to the snorkel

Easy enough to figure out how far back:

Get the beam spread of your lights (most floods are around 30 degrees, Spots around 15 degrees). Get a protractor and a laser pointer and get up on the roof. Align with laser pointer with the appropriate angle on the protractor at an elevation about the bottom of your light. Move the set up back from the windshield until the laser just hits the roof. This will make sure the light from the light bar is blocked by the roof and doesn't glare off the hood. To fill the dark spot this creates in front of your vehicle a couple small cube lights on the center of that tube bumper would be perfect. I put a pair of Hella 500's (not cube lights) under my stinger, work great and no issues with air flow.
