Desert dune! So the stock main color. Getting rid of the moonglow. Should be relatively easy since the moonglow is just on the rockers and lower halves of the doors.

I’m excited for you! I like the two-tone, but prefer Desert Dune. Can’t wait to see the finished product.

Update from the paint shop. Got the trim holes on the doors welded up (I don't know if US cruisers had holes, might be an international thing) and got the holes welded up on the LX fenders.

Took the trim off the sunroof, well actually it just crumbled and fell out. I might get my new sunroof tinted to keep the new trim in better shape.

Removed the tire carrier. Everything was easy except for the security bolt. Left handed drill bit saved the day.

I have enjoyed having this tire carrier more than I expected. It's light, maybe 20lbs. That being said, I have been considering getting a bumper, but maybe one without swingouts, and keep the OEM tire carrier. Maybe the Dissent extreme clearance rear bumper.

Anyone ever dismantled an OEM tire carrier before? I would like to blast/paint or powder coat it but the hinges seem pressed in.

Thanks for posting up sunroof trim numbers…mine are rattling and need a refurb…..probably get these before NLA. Great work!
