$297.50 worth of taxes paid based on the book value of a 97 Wrangler ... $4,760! :grinpimp:

:flamingo:

ugh... they want something like 500-550 for my 01 2500 diesel...:bang: taxing me on 7800ish dollars i think they said... i even have a notarized form showing i only paid 6800. but then again im sure many many people fibbed on the price of many vehicles hence why they came up with their new tax plan, i know i may have a couple of times. (must be payback)

none the less good to hear trans is up again and your legalized.

No doubt she could benefit from your talents sir.

Great thang 'bout havin' Charles do it local is that we can do it in steps and I can pull it out of his shop as needed to attend events, beerruns, etc, ...

Greg built the Presidential Suite ... Jonathan built the Rubi Kamper ... and now Charles gets his turn on Brutus. It simply amazes me the amount of talent we have right here in our lil' part of the world.

Brutus didn't come with a rollcage?!

They simply cut the ass-end off the stock TJ rollbar. So what's left is the one bar behind the seat and the two bull**** bars that go to the windshield.

Charles has gotta LOT of tube to bend.

Order of work is based on campin' first ... then wheelin'. :meh:

Gonna start with a swing-out spare tire carrier. 40" spare takes up most the bed so no room for campin' gear. Also mount the rear license plate (billet aluminum frame with light and 3rd brake light) in the center of the spare so nice and legal. Fold down shelf on the backside for additional table space when in future expedition mode.

Next will come the cage over the bed. Design will accomodate/protect the roof-top tent and the two awnings.

Last items will be the wheelin' stuff ... full-on, in-cab, cage tied to the frame. This is made simple by havin' the removable top. Also need rocker protection and a grill guard.

Then we move on from there ... :grinpimp:

There is absolutely NO schedule for the completion of this rig. It's done when it's done.

:flamingo:

If you sold everything you had you could have one too!

Great news! After extensive negotiatin' with Mr. Little ... who now is evidently Charles' bid'ness manager ... I was able to apply a large portion of my extensive personal wealth and bribe my way onto the schedule. It's now anticipated that within the next calender week, Brutus will indeed be in the hands of Charles ... The Grand Master Tube Bender. :bounce2::cheers::bounce2:

More money than brains, that's for sure.

The fact that I'm gonna allow you anywhere near my truck without me there to supervise ya ... shows exactly how lil' brains I got. :frown:

:flamingo:

that rear bumper is cool... is that just c channel with two side loops bolted to it?

Hell ... you're that Fella that said I was rich.:lol:

You'll love this one then ...

I just printed up a new stack of hun'erds and the whole ass-end is fixin' to be redone to accomodate my swing-out tire carrier for the 40" spare. :grinpimp:

That big-ass winch fairlead's already gone ... Butch replaced it with a matchin' rope and fairlead like the front's got.
