Bring any radio system you may have. We have a CB and a pair of FSR. Having communications improves the experience. If it gets on your nerves you can turn it off

Hey all. We are planning a trip to Hurricane Creek May 6-8 Our plan is to Start in on Hurricane Creek then start exploring from there. The main objective is to keep moving and see what we can find. No pre designated stops other than the choices we make on the run. Schedule similar to this:

-Fri- meet at rest stop on 40 at 9:AM. We have some folks coming a long way and will already have been behind the wheel 4 or more hours by then.
-Fri-Take Hurricane Creek to State Rd system, decide where to go from there. Go find something new and different. Stop to eat and to camp when the mood strikes the group.
-Sat, same as Fri less rest stop and Hurricane Creek, camp in a different spot.
-Sun-Pick a route that takes us toward home, ride until we have to head home.

If we get enough rigs we will split into two separate groups and plan rendezvous for lunch and camping. I have been told that this area has been scouted etc. Can't hurt to scout it and other areas.

I am currently less than 50% I can make it depending on my trips out west (2 to Southern Utah and one to Nevada/Death Valley).

@beno Want to remain on the list, the monetary penalty for not showing up is sizeable. Izzy, whoops El Jefe will be imposing and collecting the fines

Food:

Heather and I always pack "feed yourself plus". The plus is a little extra not a whole bunch. We always come home with extra food. This way meals become a kind of a pot luck, you cook what you brung and some extra and share around.

With the dates now confirmed, I'll have to bow out. My cousin is getting married on May 7. Hope you all have a fun and safe trip.
