Bottom ones would be just what Ron @scrapdaddy needed for the trip he's on to the left coast. Don't know about the top ones...not sure how he feels about Bud Light. Also not certain two beers would be enough for one meal.

well, 1 steak isn't going to be enough either.

Personally, I love snakes. I get that most people don't like them, but I will go out of my way to observe them in the wild if I can.

Snakes aren't "aggressive." Some snakes are more active then others, with those little rattlers up in the Dakotas being pretty active. Snakes generally have zero interest in attacking anything they cannot eat or that can kill them and generally act accordingly.

Cottonmouths tend to be more exhibitionists than anything. Herpetologists sometimes call them "drama noodles" because of this.

I had a tiny Dekay's Brown Snake try to kick my *ss a month or so ago. He's completely harmless and about 4 inches long. Finally had to transport him so I wouldn't accidentally step on him.

I have dealt with some aggressive eastern brown snakes...some are very aggressive if they just see you

Took Mrs to one of the smaller islands for a week, sorta a month late getaway for our 23rd.

Most relaxed I’ve been in a long time, island time is a thing.

Beautiful!! Part of me sure wishes the daughter would have gone to Oregon State so the wife and I could enjoy the coast some. One of our trips with pig is to make slow trip up to the PNW with the dogs and let them play on those long expansive beaches.

We've been lucky enough to wander along the Oregon coast a couple of times. In both instances, the rest of our trips ended up way behind schedule because we were enjoying it too much. On one trip we camped out of the old Porsche all the way from far northwest Washington to south of San Diego, all on HWY 1.
