Toyota has changed the OE Drums, looks like.... I painted these, when new.

But yours should look this good when you're done: :hillbilly:

in my more then thorough search for the right brake drum topic here on GHOST , i NEVER came across any NON - TOYOTA GENUINE PARTS Drums that even alluded to be MADE IN JAPAN ......... :confused:



nor ITALY either , the OEM HOME FORGE Country where all BREMBO Brand Drums and ROTORS are cast and machined also ...

sad......
 
Won't lacquer last about a minute outdoors? Wouldn't a good enamel be a better paint for chassis work?

- the black lacquer i use has a exterior application spec. / marine grade

- you don't have to sand between coats , and NEVER a orange peel flash factor effect like with say a oil base aerosol enamel ..
