Toyota has changed the OE Drums, looks like.... I painted these, when new.

But yours should look this good when you're done: :hillbilly:

Dunno. It was cast into the OEM drum. Looks like Toyota changed supplier? Those were bought more than 10 years ago.

in my more then thorough search for the right brake drum topic here on GHOST , i NEVER came across any NON - TOYOTA GENUINE PARTS Drums that even alluded to be MADE IN JAPAN .........

nor ITALY either , the OEM HOME FORGE Country where all BREMBO Brand Drums and ROTORS are cast and machined also ...

sad......

Unfortunately, Brembo has moved production to CCP for export Rotors. I bought a set of Rotors from RA recently and made in CN

Won't lacquer last about a minute outdoors? Wouldn't a good enamel be a better paint for chassis work?

- the black lacquer i use has a exterior application spec. / marine grade

- you don't have to sand between coats , and NEVER a orange peel flash factor effect like with say a oil base aerosol enamel ..

this E brake assy. is like a College LEVEL jig saw puzzle
