I wouldn't overthink it too much....just a couple of jackstands and a tape measure.

When a perfectionist like ZUK tells you that your thinking too hard, that is a sign.

The above is absolutely correct. I did mine as explained above following some of the tips mentioned and got great results as proven by the frame shop's
Readout. Don't make this to difficult by over thinking it. Get busy my friend.

Thanks @47coeman. I have been following your thread for some time. Garage looks great, and the frame is perfection.

TNX for the complement, I took it up to Luke at 4x4 labs Friday to do a few final things in prep for the tub and the simple roll cage the guys are going to fab for me. Then bring it home and start assembly. I will be working the next 2 1/2 Months mainly to generate more $ to keep feeding this habit everything we do is big $ but I love it. Have been collecting parts for some time and I think I am pretty close to having most of the stuff.

All 3 options re ok but "Z" cut I am referring to option #2... you just don't want a straight verticle cut... they are weak. I went with option 2 when replacing the rusted out back half of my mini truck frame... it's held well and I've beat it to death being in a crawler chassis...

Jack stands came in. very unimpressive. They should work for what I want to do; however, I will be watching for something better.

If you want a hand, I live just down the road in Louisburg, and can come lend some help if needed, I work a lot but just holler and I'll make the time
