I wonder what they did to make the conrod do that?

Added info for people that are interested in buying/shipping/headache, Who PM me I will update realtime but I have no further help as buying it, picking it up and shipping is to much, my wife will stab me.

add info says:

no bids

I think the engine has to much damage to repair but it looks tempting, metal flakes must have gone trough all of it and everything must be taken apart and tolerances measured, even for parts that usually dont fail?

glad I am to lazy to buy, fix, install it :slap: first start would be great but not for me.
the red paint is,.. nice? but I have no idea if it was also rebuild inside.

add has mixed up info, translate:
complete Toyota 6 cylinder turbodiesel 4.20 liter from HJ60 with 5 speed transmission and transfer 4x4.
Possibly a toyota type 12HT diesel motor.

Engine damage (conrod trough carter , see picture hole about 5cm above engine mount. further no damage (Rest motor okay)

Turbo okay ($$$$)
tansmission okay
transfer okay
Dieselpump okay ($$$$)
alternator okay
start motor okay
etc. etc.

Seller would like to sell in one piece and knows what only the turbo is worth.

My simple options:

Rosco lack of oil would be my guess as there a strong engine.

With the red block, green injector lines and K&N filter I was thinking it was a drag racing engine.
I wonder if you could transfer everything onto a 2H block?

The 2h block and crank are the same but it has different rods and the 2h block would need machining for the piston oil squirters coolers..

I used a 12ht rod in my 2h rebuild last year. It was according to the supplier, interchangeable. It did look just a tad different but measuring it, revealed the same specs.
