thanks mate im glad i went this way instead of bunging jeep rear flares onto the back

ive got my motor back now. its all in just have to go pick my new turbo up tomorrow afternoon. i bought a garrett gt2860 with .64 exhaust side. so it should be pretty responsive setup. also ive fitted rear air locker into carrier. just need to install it into the housing. apart from that ive been flat out at work. looking forward to starting a fresh 1hz up again

so ive shortened the tub again 160mm had to change around the wheel arches and move the battery box forward. i bought myself a air over hydraulic bender today just a cheepy :P and a bench drill notcher. made up one of these just have to sheet it in now.

Are you telling me that you bent all of your bar work with this???
I bought one of these with the intention of building some sliders, and for the life of me I can't get it to bend without a) crushing the tube where it is bending, and b) crushing the tube where the 2 rollers touch the tube!!! Very impressed... fill me in on the secret!!!

hey mate yep i used it on all the bends. sounds to me like u are trying to bend a radius thats too tight. i had the same problem when i first started. i just adjusted the pins till it worked. either that or your using the wrong pipe possibily...

been a while since ive put a post up... i glad to say that its finished and on the road. and runs like a dream. i ended up getting a garrett gt2860 turbo for it. it goes now, just have to look around for a intercooler for it. heres some pics anyway.
i had to change the 2 thermo fans to 1 16 inch thermo fan. that keeps it cool now.

ive fitted the rear air locker, i just have to source a compressor for it now.

Has hotrod similarities and to my eye it looks attractive from all angles.

Well done 84sloth

been a while since i posted anything.ive fitted a 4inch efs lift to it and a few spotlights. heres where its at now. im goin to start makin up some barwork to protect it a bit. i keep smashin the tray around. i think im going to have to beadlock the creepys. im sick of the beads caking up with mud and dirt, there useless for that
