Maybe you need something like a race car trailer with sleeping/ workshop/ storage/ car space?
Or a modified horsebox?
I'm going over options, like the one you mentioned.

Having two dogs, they need a place to hang without issue, but in reality, when I have checked on the via camera when I am at work, all they do is sleep. So as long as I have an AC running-let's say using one of those silent generators, they would be fine even in the HJ camper. I wouldn't be working 8 hour days with them in there, I would be taking them for a walk every couple of hours, and it would only be for maybe a week or so at a time.

So what I have been considering:

1. Tow a small cargo trailer and sleep in the vehicle (HJ or FJC). Not practical, as the HJ has a while to go before it's ready, and the FJC would be a bitch every single day-not to mention having AC in it when parked.
2. Tow a small toy hauler, which would allow me to carry my supplies and sleep in there. Run the AC with silent generator.
3. Add a simple bed in a small cargo trailer and an AC unit. Run it with a silent generator. Sleep among my supplies.
4. Get a class C and convert the bedroom into a little workshop, maybe flat tow the HJ.
Towing the HJ, or FJC, on a flat trailer would be great, but also now make me need a much larger RV.

Every pro idea opens up a con.

Saw this for sale in Africa and recalled your towing question.
How much can the HJ45 tow? Well, I guess it depends on the owner rather than the truck.

Wow!
It's been a while!
Been through a divorce and now working on getting back on my feet.
The HJ is in a safe place.
Plan is to swap in a 1HDT and 5 speed and split case. Also to build a sort of lightweight camper on the back.
This would be a vehicle to do adventures in... drive into the boonies and camp.
I like to avoid big highways and to take the back-roads as it is. Stopping to have a meal, a snack, or just to take in the surroundings is far better than doing 80+ on some interstate-at least for me.
If I tow with it, it will be a military type trailer most likely.

Congratulations! One of the best things to ever happen to me.
I'm with you! As a friend said to me "You know why divorce is so expensive? BECAUSE IT'S WORTH IT!"
I also learned the truth of this other saying: "You never really know your wife until you meet her in court".
I will not marry again. Would rather spend my days in the company of dogs, cats, and wild beasts!!!

Ecclesiasticus* (Sirach) 25
2 There is no head worse than the head of a serpent: 23 And there is no anger above the anger of a woman. It will be more agreeable to abide with a lion and a dragon, than to dwell with a wicked woman. 24 The wickedness of a woman changeth her face: and she darkeneth her countenance as a bear: and sheweth it like sackcloth. In the midst of her neighbours, 25 Her husband groaned, and hearing he sighed a little.

26 All malice is short to the malice of a woman, let the lot of sinners fall upon her. 27 As the climbing of a sandy way is to the feet of the aged, so is a wife full of tongue to a quiet man. 28 Look not upon a woman's beauty, and desire not a woman for beauty. 29 A woman's anger, and impudence, and confusion is great. 30 A woman, if she have superiority, is contrary to her husband.

31 A wicked woman abateth the courage, and maketh a heavy countenance, and a wounded heart. 32 Feeble hands, and disjointed knees, a woman that doth not make her husband happy. 33 From the woman came the beginning of sin, and by her we all die. 34 Give no issue to thy water, no, not a little: nor to a wicked woman liberty to gad abroad. 35 If she walk not at thy hand, she will confound thee in the sight of thy enemies.

36 Cut her off from thy flesh, lest she always abuse thee.

Did you get your re-wiring done in the end?
I'm still waiting for the big reveal on why you can't get over 45!
I looked back at your video, and in the nighttime leg it looks like your handbrake light is on - it couldn't be something so simple could it?
