Hello! I recently bought my 76 FJ40 last week, it's a bit rough (I Live on an island, so theres a lot of rust)
I Previously owned an FJ60, but sold it 4 years ago (Still regret it)
So, I Bought this FJ as a project, but now i'm a little intimidated by the amount of work that I Got in front of me.
It was an impulse buy (but only cost me 1.000$)
Hope to learn a lot from all of you!

Welcome to mud! You are in a great place to get that 40 in tip top shape!
I'm in Canada.... and well I wanna say my 40 is worse lol. Check out "Love at first sight FJ40" for some motivation;)

Good looking 40

I was thinking of changing the color.. always wanted an orange car (used to have the rear bumper of my fj60 painted like that) but this yellow mustard looks good on the fj 40

Sure, i'll post more pics soon, maybe this weekend i'll do some deep cleaning and take a few new shots!

Pull up the rubber floormats so you can begin assessing how well the seats are secured to the floor...and the floor to the tub.

Regardless of what you find, ditch the floormats.
