Before you go welding or drilling for an extractor..... look at the bolt with good light.... most times when they break they will leave about 1 and half p#*^y hairs, if this is the case, grab onto it with some needle nose vise grips and turn it out! If no go there....... just tack a nut onto it! (Just tack it, power on..power off.... DONT melt the gasket)

Notice in the pic I posted two different ends. One end is used as drill and depth you need they usually don't work for drilling though so just use it for depth. Other end is the extractor and it is used on reverse direction on the drill

@Marine7 makes a heck of point.

If you were just tightening & snapped the head off, whatever is left is loose, not bound in.

Go the "low hanging fruit" method 1st - unless it was siezed in (doubt it, we all have some 'blowdown' AKA 'protective film layer' on our motors) - I agree with his thoughts that this could be an easy extract, even maybe with a Dremel & a HSS tip cut a slot if recessed to use a screwdriver on.

Never know, man - could be a 1  gig.

Hey I've been out of town thanks for all the tips you guys have great knowledgeable on these great trucks
