Unsure as I have not really thought about selling it. But it has been blasted and painted inside and out with Eastwood frame paint.

Is worth knowing what kind of $ you want for it. pM me if you want to with a #

Starting a 9ish. IF this frakin rain would stop. If anyone has a pressure steam cleaner. Bring it along.

I've got a 10x10 as well. Doesn't help much, but it will help.

9am sounds good to me.

Well, that'll keep the Charlotte-area brain trust from coming over! You'll be better off with us anyway. :moon:

Still come if you can. There will be metal cutting, grinding, and welding lessons with breakout sessions for tasty IPA.

While I would truly love to come violate Johnny's powder room I'll be grunting under the 80 again. BFH's, tools that lock and grip and cut, maybe some fire. Why is it so hard to change a light bulb? This is normal, right?

Thanks to everyone for coming over!! Didn't get a massive amount of work done, but we took our time and did everything we got done correctly :D

- DS rebuild of Derek's front axle (trunions, wheel bearings, rotor, etc.) Found a frozen piston on the DS caliper which set us back, and boogered up the first inner axle seal we attempted to put in, but everything was smooth other than that.
- Bodywork on Shasta. Grinding the paint/bondo off revealed a ton of rust. Ended up cutting more than we anticipated :D

I had a ton of fun. Thanks guys!

Thank you to all. Johnny thanks for hosting.

DeeRex post up some of your pics of the knuckle rebuild, pls.

I'll pull the pics off my phone and upload them tomorrow.
It was definitely slow going but it was such a great experience.
When you read that this is a dirty job, you don't get a real understanding until your covered elbow down and your clothes are ruined.
Looking forward to getting the new calipers and tackling the other side soon!

You looked so happy doing it, though! I just had LexTech do mine - now I feel like I missed out on a fun time... The FJ40 will need the axles done at the end of the year, I will have to bring it up for a Fall HAMOM as I don't know crap about FJ40's.

Hey all - sorry for posting these pics so late.
It was pretty overcast that day and the iPhone didn't do a good job of color balance so I made some tweaks to the shots. Most turned out pretty well.
This post is going to be pretty pic heavy so I feel bad for those of you without good internet.
To the pics...

What the heck - how about a video too...

Had a really great time and ready to get nasty with the passenger side next (and replace the calipers.)

How was the Old Bay Summer Ale?

It tasted like straight up Old Bay Seasoning. Would have been REALLY good with a seafood dinner, but by itself, it was a little intense.

Agreed.
The flavor was definitely too strong in its own.
I found out this weekend that I have a buddy that loves the stuff though.

It's interesting is the comment I got from everyone who tried it. I still have one or two from a six pack I got. Beer doesn't hang around long in these parts so that gives you an idea of what I think of it. TL:DR meh...

D, Thank for the pics.
Everyone else. We going to start the 2H install this weekend. Stop if you can. I'll have beer an grub again.

Check out the build thread for the latest updates.
PM me for Johnny's address.

I had a full day with a kids birthday party and soccer kickoff for CASL. You guys working tomorrow at all?
