OK;) There's alot of cancer and it would be too hard to do a resto. I have resigned to taking my time w/ it, because I want to do it right. This is the type of feed back I was looking for. It is going to happen. I just want to do it the best way possible and thought that everyones input would be the best place to start.

Do you know something about this particular hog that I don't???cause I'd love to know what it is if you do...

I'd leave it alone, SOA, exo-cage, and wheel the s*** out of it

:hillbilly: Come on... get with the cutting already. Less talk and more action

Haha Good deal. I look forward to seeing what you come up with. I do have to say when I got my plasma cutter it made my pig work fly by. Good tools make all the difference!

if you had a resto-able rig and the means to do that, maybe,, but its yours, do what you want. i have always wanted to chop mine into a pickup style cab and build a trayback, just havent commited because lately i want to stretch the doors, and maybe the w/b.

Wheel base is easy enough and needed as far as I can see, and why not, anyway!!!. The doors are a bit short and I too was thinkin on how to go about that.....move the B pillar back and patch together two door then have some cost'em glass and regulators made......or, cause I are short, leave em how they be:hillbilly:

Awweright guys, getting ready to pull the trigger and get some steel stock.....I'm thinking of using 2 1/8"X1X4, and making an "L" shaped "C" pillar, with one having its 4" face along the side of the wagon, and the other perpendicular to it, as a sort of corner. Do you guys think I am overestimating the 1X4 strength? Should I go 2X4? I was planning on using an 1/8"X2X3 for the header, and some 1/4"X3X4 for the rocker rails. trying to find a balance between strength and weight..... Thanks guys.

oh my goodness!!!!
