FJ55 dual cab ute conversion

Hi guys,
This is my FJ55, I'm going to cut it down into a dual cab ute.

Then can I have your side window gaskets?. X3, what for? Does your rig have the barn doors or tail gate?- If you're serious about cutting up that pig, then I'm serious about your window rubbers!

I like the second one.. I wouldnt chop up a good 55 to do it though..

if its rusty chop the back of that will get rid of your rust problem
are you going to keep the rear tub or put a flat tray on it?

Hey there. Its not too rusty just in the roof. Heres a pic of the cut.

OK. Now I'm serious about those side window gaskets!

I cut mine thru the C pillar, just in front of the rear window channels. That way I could get a clean transformation from the bed sides all the way around the roof. I kept the wheelwells too. It took alotta trimming & grinding to get it all boxed out & finished. I added a roll cage for safety. Can't wait to see what design you come up with to cap off where you bobbed it.

hi lambcruher, all the window rubbers are very damaged from the sun and when i took the glass out the fj the rubbers all fell apart
