Any update on the RCLT? I see that Fred and Dave from DED just installed it on A 4Runner and ran Fordyce last week for the show.

Nice! Can’t wait to see the install process.

How do you like the Ceika brake kit? I was thinking about getting a set for the front of my 80 series.

Very good kit. Would recommend.

... it's now after the weekend AFTER the 4th, @Vlad

😎

The anticipation for the reveal is intolerable!

Delay at the garage. Won't be going in till the 24th or so.

In the garage and all parts dropped. Should have progress pics this week.

Tear down has begun.

It is coming along! Ran into a few issues with suppliers on the rear links and the engine mounts being from 2003 led to the marrack sitting on the oil pan. SOOOO...new motor mounts! The fit is almost done. The finish is going to take time. 4.88s and lockers are in both diffs. Things are coming together. Should be completely done and aligned in the next week. I am in Canada but returning next week so I am hoping to pick it up when I get back or by the following weekend.

Great update.

Maybe reach out to @Franken470 - his RCLT kit is installed and on the road. Maybe he can offer some insight on clearance issues to pass along to your installer.

We’ve been chatting quite a bit… he had more maintenance work done, upgraded gears and is going to be running his 37” tires much sooner than myself. Considering his scope of work, completion being a few days behind me speaks to the quality of Baker auto work.

Thanks brother. Yeah, slow is fast in this case. The work being done is going to be stellar. BOR knows what is up.
