Rad. You got this! Hit me up if you need help.Starting on that drawer system/sleeping platform build. Thanks to Jake,
Which front mounts? I’ve already got my brackets made for bottom platform. I forgot my tap and die set at work, but I have the holes drilled out.Rad. You got this! Hit me up if you need help.
I think the only thing Id change is maybe doing rivnuts for the front mounts just because it’s so much easier than getting those made. Although the way I did it in the video is certainly stronger.
Those. Ignore me. You already did it the better way. I meant you could do rivnuts in the seat mount ridge there instead of making brackets. Yours look awesome.Which front mounts?
lol I did it the harder and more expensive way. I bought a flat bar bender from Swag Offroad so I could make the bends. They came out okay, but are far from perfect. I even cut my base 41”x41” instead of 42.25” by 41”. Too busy yapping with the wife I didn’t notice. Sooo, I have to get some more wood to finish the job correctly, but I make the 42.25”x41” cut with the other half of the plywood and moved on. I’ll finish up the base tomorrow, get some more measurements, then order the extruded aluminum. Thanks for your help! Those. Ignore me. You already did it the better way. Looking good! Did you happen to measure the distance between the mounting bolts?lol I did it the harder and more expensive way. I bought a flat bar bender from Swag Offroad so I could make the bends. It’s heavy, but it might become part of the kit once everything is all said and done.Love the receiver mounted vice!
If I have the room, that could be a great trail "tool" to carry along. All too often one needs a vice on the trail to fab something for recovery or whatever.
Nope, placed my wood on top of the bolts and quote “hit it with a big ass hammer”.Looking good! Did you happen to measure the distance between the mounting bolts?
Noice! Thats how I started.Nope, placed my wood on top of the bolts and quote “hit it with a big ass hammer”.
I got the four rear bolts in.View attachment 4010430
Don’t listen Richard! He carries a complete machine shopIf I have the room, that could be a great trail "tool" to carry along.
You just made the 20hrs it took me to make those two videosquote “hit it with a big ass hammer”.
Don't think so? I'll inevitably take it apart to see if anything came loose but it didn't happen at first so I figured maybe it was just from something on the brake side of thingsThat's a LOT of sensors. Have you recently worked on or around any of the electrical connections between those sensors and the PCM? Such as when installing your new head unit? I'd interpret that many different codes as a plug working itself loose (likely) or a one of the computers failing (unlikely).
I'll have to go hunting later to see what I can findIs there a master fuse for the abs that would cause this?
Something may have been unplugged or disconnected for a short time when you worked on the dash. After all these are CANBUS vehicles, so everything is routed through everything else. That's such an unusual set of codes to appear after some major dash work that I'd be surprised if the two events aren't related. If it "fixed itself" and the lights never come back on, I'd not worry about itI'll have to go hunting later to see what I can find
Edit: For more context, the lights on the dash went away after a restart
