Anyone know if they make a seatbelt cap for the second row.. or might have to design 3D print one. I can hear road noise for sure coming out of them.
My second row has the seatbelts attached to the seats. For the third row some get prado plastic. I used sound deadening and it's sufficient. -nevermind haven't had my coffee

I don't think so since even the shorter wheelbase 2 door Prado has a second row of seats. I might be interested in the 3DP second row drivers side cap once I delete the 60 part of the 60/40 for my sleeping platform.

I have a cheap desktop one that I've never been able to get a good scan off of, but it's something I'd really like to get some day, when the prices get below 4 digits and the resolution is gets high enough.

Teaser. Since my GROM unit is almost dead I needed another solution and I think I found it. Still need to take the dash apart to run the wires properly. Since this unit has a rear camera I'll be using it as a front offroad camera.

Something fishy here....

So far so good with the new infotainment screen. Wireless carplay is nice I gotta say. Only downside is the battery drain! LOL

On another note, I've got two projects beginning this month that I'll be focusing on--one is a long term project that I'll go in to detail shortly, the other is something that I need to complete by EOY. The secret one only @r2m knows about and it may stay that way. The other is I'm going to be looking in to changing out my front seats for another set from either another Toyota/Lexus vehicle or another brand altogether. My goals are to; a) get a ventilated seat that doesn't suck and b) replace my worn seats with something more plush. I've got the seat bolt mount measurements and a local fabricator / welder that will assist with the brackets. I am going to build a custom wiring harness to "translate" the appropriate pins for the motors, airbag, heater, and ventilator. Once I get a successful installation, I plan on possibly building the brackets and wiring harnesses for sale. But, we'll see how successful I'll be.

For those who have other makes and models with ventilators, heaters, airbag, and power adjustments I may reach out to get some measurements and images of those seats' mounting brackets/hardware if you want to participate.

In case anyone hasn't noticed, I'm big on redneck science-ing solutions to my project rig.

See what year RX, NX, Rav4's and other similar vehicles have seat cooling, and what years they started being available, then start looking at wrecking yards.
If I'm not mistaken, your interior is black, if so, that should be an easy match. I'd try t find Lexus seats if possible since they'll probably be more comfortable.
Going with a full size vehicle like the newer, not new, but newer LX and LC's seats may not work. They will probably be: a) too wide or b) too high, meaning you won't be able to get the seat low enough in the vehicle for your head not to hit the head liner.
But these are just thoughts, nothing is known for sure.
Good luck with that! 👍 🤞

I agree. I'm going to measure seat heights from the mounting bolts as well as length and width on each potential donor seat to verify fitment. I'm going to start by measuring my wife's 2019 RAM 2500 just for grins. LOL

You could also go with race seats like Recaro or Beard. I had Beard in my VW Baja prerunner and loved them, albeit, they did not recline.
You can add heat and cooling to almost any seat, check these guys out: Sanctum Seat Ventilation System - LeatherSeats.com - https://leatherseats.com/shop/seat-comfort/seat-heater-cooler-unit/

Now that is an awesome idea. I wonder how difficult it would be to retro fit my existing seats with this. Then I could get new seat foam and reupholster them for less than buying new seats.

You will probably need to defeat the side impact SRS airbags in the front seats with resistors

You will likely have codes behind the scenes related to the memory seating as well

I can’t recall offhand anyone doing a front seat swap on a 460. Most I’ve seen are on the 470 from some 3rd party seat manufacturers and not from another Toyota/Lexus model.

If I use a donor seat with an existing airbag and the donor vehicle has seat position memory then that should in theory still keep those functioning. My goal would be to build a custom wiring harness to ensure all wires are utilized properly.

If I lose seat memory no big deal but the airbag might be useful to have.

Ok, I supppse it isn't ecru after all... Now I have a set of grey and ecru, so is my interior ivory? *le sigh*

I feel this with almond and ivory faceplates

Hahahahahha
Maybe we can trade? But I’m still not sure which color trim I have either.
What's the part #'s of the ones you've got.
