Congrats Reevesci, that build by Wyoming kept me going when mine was stalling. He started the conversion after me and finished way before mine. Looking forward to seeing the upgrades you add to the already awesome rig.

That's such an awesome platform to begin with. My 3rd 60 series must come with some of that CUMMINS POWAAAAAA!!!

Robustbambi- Just remember, she much rather be Cummin than Strokin :grinpimp:

The rig needs quite a bit of re-work, but as said above.. its a good platform to start with.

First thing is to swap out the fuel solenoid that is bailing wired OPEN.. So, I have to kill the rig by stalling it out in 5th gear.. I'll fix it...

Wow dude... just wow! So awesome that you got another rig and can't wait to see what you do to this one. Will definitely being tuned in here!

Well I crawled underneath to see the fuel supply/return configuration and try and see what I need to do to get the tank to breath so I can put more than 1/2 a tank of diesel in... (although right now 12 gallons is yielding me around 276 miles which is about the same as my 2F was getting on a full tank...)

I also need to open up the filler neck for the diesel pump nozzles, but I got that figured out..

Johnny.. Boots... Mike.... Cullman...

All help is appreciated..

Yea, sorry I wasn't much help, there's a metal piece that covers all that on mine and protects the neck on the fuel tank. Might have to wait until the weekend before I can take it off and take a picture.

EDIT:

Just crawled under there with a flashlight. I still can't fit a camera, but none of the hoses have been deleted.

No problem, I really appreciate the pics M.

As Johnny said, "looks like he cut everything from the body side and plugged everything on the tank side." So, when I get a chance I will run a line from one of the tank side plugged lines above the tank and see what happens.. I hope its that easy..

I'll report back..

On another note.. I got a new fuel solenoid ordered from LarryB's and will get that replaced in the next few days..

Aussie mirrors, glove box door, hood release cable, steering column covers and a seat cloth patch incoming from CruiserYard.

I'm in need of a FJ62 complete rear sway bar set-up and full wiring harness from bumper to bumper. Jason and Eric are looking for me, but if anyone one has these items I'm interested. Along with aussie cargo sliders..:grinpimp: I may just get the WagonGear windows... REALLY...!! :grinpimp::grinpimp::grinpimp: I have to call KR anyhow.. He could use some more business with the new shop start up costs..

Also got some nice Aisin gold dial hubs to replace the WARN :eek:hubs..

ELECTRICAL NIGHTMARE!!

That is quite the adventure.

As for the fuel tank I removed that multi-hose unit and plugged all the openings on the tank. I removed the restrictor in the filler neck and have the breather hose that goes to the top of the filler neck hooked up. With that I don't have any problems completely filling up the tank.

Oh Lord....

That looks like a Rainbow vomited on a spaghetti factory after a tornado hit it.

With a tsunami and an earthquake in the mix somehow. HA!.. At least I understand the configuration and can take it for a spin... TO GET BEER to ease the pain!! Hopefully there will be sunny skies soon. :D
