Picked up my pallet of doors, quarter, rocker and dog leg patch panels, long range tank (good re-work template, gonna have to open this up to investigate the inner maze of mayhem...;)) and a seat cushion for the PS to DS swap.

Kurt has got me squared away with front OME heavy+ springs and a set of AALs. This should get me close to level with the front and rear additions to come.

Ordered the 7100s this morning as well.

I bet you're pumped for all these goodies Mr. J!

And I'm not sure if i read why you were going with 7100s over the other choices? I don't need shocks, but I do enjoy spending money on very unnecessary things... That and I'm fairly certain girls are attracted to remote reservoirs (still being researched).

KEEP posting many pics!

That's a big tank! I bet you could get nearly 1000 miles with that much fuel.

What are the holes in the bottom for?

P, I liked the idea of being able to completely self rebuild and re-valve the 7100s for my needs... They are cheaper than others with better reviews I've seen and several of the guys here are highly recommending them. I went with the standard Schrader style instead of the reservoir style. I don't plan on using this rig for much other than open country BLM expedition fun and running pipeline ROWs for work when needed.. and of course the occasional offroad trail event, hiking and mountain fishing rig.

I'll pull the measurements tomorrow and get a "gallons" quantity.. If it is indeed a 38 gallon @ my flatland MPG avg..... 942 miles to the tank... SO, (1) make it bigger to get to 1000 miles, (2) change gears, or (3) BOTH... I like (3) personally.. :meh:

Holes are "all the way" through pipes to run all thread through and then bolt to the floor.. LEAK WAITING TO HAPPEN IMO...Ill delete those and add angle iron for mounting.

Well couldn't wait... HOLY @#&!!!! this tank is 48.5 gallons....I checked the calculations twice..

48.5 gallons x 24.8mpg (best so far) = 1202 miles to a tank..... Even if I drop to my worst mpg yet (22.1) that's 1071 miles per tank.. :grinpimp:

AT just shy of $200.00 to fill up.. HA!

I may cut this down a couple inches, but I really don't need to. If I keep it as is, I will build a tank skid plate.

That's some serious range...no need for jerry's or rotopax I guess:steer::grinpimp:

with that much range, you need a bladder device :)

That's a huge tank! Full of diesel it would weigh around 350 pounds!!! Might need to beef up those rear springs too :)

I think Goss is gonna be a wee bit heavier than Marley was :D

Yeah, but I will build a rack on the rear bumper for my 3 cans and BBQ pit again.. :grinpimp:

Funnel with a hose run through the floor board!

Not sure, I plan on thinner metal for the armor this time around ( 1/4" and 5/16" was a tad overkill, but its what I had laying around.. Rear springs are heavy plus already. I'll hold off on those until I have the rig completely outfitted with Charlie the cruiser dog in back.

Got a new set of locks that are in like new operating condition and my Blue Sea accessories are starting to show up...

:princess: said she's going to bill me a package handling fee this build.....

Well I have decided against the air lockers for now. I don't think I will need them for this rigs purpose and my intended travels. I may change my mind later as I frequently do.

I did however, order all my springs (heavy +'s and AALs , new u-bolts and a LockRight for the rear from Kurt today. DAMN, he has the best service around, hands down.... He and his guys are just awesome. Bryce took good care of me today. Thanks AGAIN Cruiser Outfitters!!! See you next time which will be soon knowing me...

You're going to need to get busy or you're garage is going to be so full of goodies, you won't be able to get the truck in there.

I have a few more weeks before I can move the house belongings back into the house from the shop... I have a small storage area in my shop for Goss' things..

I buy, stock pile and then build.. goes faster.. :D Once I get going I don't like to stop with a build.. I change my mind too much. :meh:

Woohoo, they actually had hog ring pliers and the rings..

The old DS seat cushion was destroyed. This was a quick 1.5 hour project. I added some of the jute padding underneath to help pad my big ole butt..

Here are a few pics..
