Went wheeling with a friend this weekend that had a brand new GoPro HD action video camera. We played around with different mounting positions (the suction cup mount is very versatile). Fender flare was great for through the water and the roof was good for climbs.
The video is very high resoloution, but the copies here have been compressed and emailed and uploaded and all that jazz. The camera provides a perspective that most others can't IMO. Very easy to upload videos and view on a laptop.

Awesome camera, a guy had one on his jeep this past weekend but he ran out of memory for it within the first few minutes of filming. They really film well and you don't get the shaky camera syndrome.

Dunno if I would show the world my Michelob Ultra though :flipoff2:

Cool vids

Sweet Videos. Nice  shot too. I'm a bud light guy myself.

Used one in Moab this year... Great video and sound. There is a filter you can get to reduce the 'dazzle effect' when going into bright sun, recommend you get it as well. This vid gets some sound and didn't have the filter installed...

The magnetic mounts work very nice for the exterior. The roll bar mounts work great if you have some tube to put them on. The windshield mount works ok, but it is pretty cumbersome.

I like mine.....

Nice shots!. I love my GoPro. Used it around Ouray this past summer. I like putting it on the end of a stick to put under water. Also got some good shots of behind some waterfalls.

That's a great price and they are very versatile. These things do a lot of the filming on reality shows where they need cheap high quality cameras to put in dangerous situations ie mythbusters blowing stuff up.

typed badly on my iPhone using IH8MUD

Just remember to shut them off if you're doing something embarassing, my buddy had an R35 GT-R come to the shop with a blown motor couple weeks back. Moron left his Gopro attached to the back window, well little rewind revealed he was racing a twin turbo Gallardo many times on the street and popped his motor. The guys are yelling back and forth at each other about what happened. Amusing.
By the way I knew someone was going to say something about the beer as soon as I saw it. I would say something about nothing being more manly than mud and beer...but the was Michelob Ultra that's not beer.
