Good news... Lowe Toyota is paying the fees for the pavilion/camping. All you guys have to pay is the trail fees.

No prob guys. Glad to do it.

It's still def "unofficial" and I don't know if we can even call it an "event". Haha. Just a weekend of wheelin.

Don't forget beer drinking too :)

I might be interested in going. I have never been. What r the trails like?
Anything like trail 22 on Sat at GSMTR would be great.

The trails are much, much shorter at GMP. Like trail 22 would loop this entire park 4+ times probably. There's not a whole lot of "bunny trails", however, if it stays dry, there are plenty of short trails that you can try that'll be nice and technical. Good place to work on driving and spotting skills.

If it's wet, don't even show up. - And that's not meant for you, that's just a general rule of thumb for GMP. :deadhorse:

I would rather wheel at GMP in the rain than forest service roads in the dry.

GMP is mostly a big tire park. There is plenty to do in a wagon but it suits my 40 perfectly.

Steve is just scared of any trails that require wheel speed.

I agree. Your wheelbase, weight, tire size and type, and amount of HP is a very good combo for GMP - wet or dry.

Steve is just scared of any trails that require wheel speed.
And this is also 100% true. :D I wouldn't say "scared" as much as "I know I won't make it" though. My own fault for setting up the truck for crawling only, but I had my time playin in the mud when I was younger and now, IH8MUD. But since the wagons can achieve good wheel speed, they should do fine.... as long as they're ok bouncing off of rocks and trees to maintain their line.

But hey, it's not gonna rain anyway!!! :bounce:

Not sure about "bouncing" but you are right, July in TN doesn't usually equal much if any rain.

There will be plenty for the wagons. Also we're only there for 2 days... I don't think anyone will run out of trails to ride on. And even if it did rain, which it likely won't, it's going to br so hot it will dry up fast. :hillbilly:

It looks like i need to do some work and get the 14 bolt in my 40.

All I'm going to do before we go is add a power steering cooler. Should take about 15 minutes. (It's nice to not have any major work like and engine or trans to swap. Seems like every other event I've been to lately I was trying to piece the truck together at the last minute.)

Mike I need to hit you up for an extra birf just in case. I won't change one on the trail but I think me and Matt could swap one at the pavilion pretty easy.

I cary a 27 spline Longfield as a spare (even though ill never need it) I also have fj40 length inners but no mini truck inners.

You are also more than welcome to a stock birf.
