C'Dan and Beno ? " How can we help you?"

In what ways? Not trying to be confrontational but if you know without a shadow of a doubt the A343 and A340 have say different size baskets, pistons, etc it would save me from spending the money to have ATF Speed tell me that.
I don't know the ways - beno probably does. I think more clutch discs or something, or different numbers of planetaries. maybe not in a way that you should be concerned with, but slightly different.

Holy Resurrection

Could the first gear out of a A442 be swapped to A343?
Same thing for 5th gear out of A750 into A343.

I am thinking about a hybrid since there is no way currently to swap the A750 into an 80 series.

So apparently the a442f continued on in diesel 100series in South Africa only from 1998-2004.

and I’d be willing to bet gear ratios changed. we need some South African boots on the ground.

I'm bumping a super old thread. But dan do you know if all a442f's are the same ratio or did the hydro a442 in the diesel keep the a440 gears?
