I don't see why not. As long as the truck can back up to the dock and it will roll off.
 
dock / pallet jack would be fine. it's not like they will stack pallets on a truck. tents wont support the load.

the tent package is 8"x 8" x 67.5" so a pallet of 24 tents will be 4' x 4' x 5'6" and weigh about 730 lbs.
 
Since we won’t be getting the tents for another two weeks or so maybe a good time to distribute the tents could be the Christmas party.
If it helps, I volunteer to bring my small trailer ( if need be) packed with tents to the party from Raleigh and from there the Charlotte folks can pick them up.

Do you have access to a loading dock with pallet? @Ncrunner4x4 says he has a place to store them

It looks like more than half of the orders will need to be distributed either to our out of the Charlotte area. Might be easier to ship one pallet to Charlotte. Anyone there in a position to receive a pallet? The driver requires a forklift onsite.

There's only 24 on the palette you can unload them by hand pretty quick. I wouldn't worry so much about the forklift
 
If you have not done so, please go ahead and submit your payments. Something that I did not take into account is Paypal/Venmo transfer fees. Once I have everyone's payments, I will be choosing the free transfer that takes up to 3 business days. That could push the order out to Tuesday or Thursday depending on how quickly/slowly everyone pays. If you have cold feet, for any reason, please let me know ASAP. We don't want that holding up the order.

If at the end of this thing you end up out of pocket any money, please let us know. I know there are always unexpected fees/cost that come up and you should not eat any of that. This is close to a $10,000 order so I’m sure things can escalate easily.

Very kind of you to bring that up. Hopefully we’ll be good, but I will let you guys know if anything unaccounted for comes up.
