Dang.. Why don't I have a removable top yet? I would so jump on this..

I paid over 1k for my Paki top and it takes 2 people a day to take it off which is what prompted me to make this top. The whole thing comes off in about 5 minutes with snaps and leaves no trace of itself when completely removed. No holes drilled etc. The pic shows a factory style top which was used for the templates for the fabric. I will post more pictures of the finished product in a few days.

I have one of the canvas fj45 paki tops. I have a set of front fj40 bows that with simple modification will work for the fj45. No waiting to be shipped from Pakistan(mine took over a year)Price is 1200.00 plus shipping from atlanta, ga.
 
The smart money says that Gary [Waggoner5] started his project design with a paki top on hand.;)
 
Yep. Cut it up to make a pattern for a new top that you can actually use. Picking up the truck tomorrow and will post some pics. I will sell all the bows and such from the Paki top cheap.
 
I've watched this thread and just realized I should post up. I also would be interested in the details of your top (price, colors etc).
 
kkt, send me some pics of your bows and top.... got any other 45 parts lying around?

Hi Gary
if I'm reading correctly, I'd be interested in your Paki top bows. I have the back half of my original 40 bows but the front hoop & parts for the door were tossed/lost long before I got the truck. So if your selling that part from a paki top (I would think the truck hoops would be basically just the front of a 40) then I am interested. What sort of price were you thinking?
