Does anyone have a source for new gas tanks for the 55?

I would prefer to buy a new tank but they are no longer available. SOR does have used tanks available.

Are there any other options?

Thanks

IPOR built a new tanks for my pig, 33 gal in tank fuel pump and level with the frame rail.

Tank

This was a one off and it's very nice, I can still access the sending unit from inside the truck, the only issue is the in tank fuel pump from
the FJ62 is not pushing enough fuel for the Ram Jet so it's getting replace with a performance pump which will make all the difference ine the world in power.
If there was enough serious interest they just might be interested in making more. The truck will be back at IPOR Feb 10th, I'll make sure they record all the spec's and I'll talk to Lance about the interest here. If you really need a tank he'll make you one. I'll post some pic's of it installed in my build thread tonight or tomorrow.

What was the cost for the tank?

Tank

I don't have my records at work but it was in the neighborhood of a thousand dollars installed, it's pricey but worth every penny, 33 Gal above the frame rail says it all.

Damn, I like that a lot!

I have a 49 gallon Aussie tank. The baffling sucks and it sticks lower than I like.

33 gallons souonds perfect.........and an intank pump.

What is it made out of?

Its Galvanize not stainless, at the time they did not have enough stainless on hand and we were trying to get it finished the next day. I'm sure you could reguest stainless and that may be the plan in the future. I spoke the Cam at IPOR, the plan is to blueprint the design. According to Cam it bolted to factory frame holes so shipping and install would be a snap. Below are pics of the inside to try and answer baffling, I shot these just before I left for the night, so I'm not sure if this is the finished look inside. My fuel gauge does move around alot so baffling made need a little work.
This was the first 55 tank they've done, so like anything produce, it will improve with time. IPOR has heard from someone from MUD about the tank so I'm sure this will happen.
