Gas Tank for a 71 do I need all of these vents?

I have a 71 gas tank I'm working on refinishing boiling coating - It has I believe 6 vents - Can I plug some of those up or do I need all of those?
I know there are some forms of early emissions on this - Just not sure I need them all

Pigs are notorious for tank back pressure and puking gas out filler neck. Two of those hoses go to the filler neck other 4 go to vapor separator before going to charcoal canister in engine compartment.

Some of the earlier Pigs had an older system with metal vapor tanks tucked all over, they had those vent tubes one in each corner.

I would keep them. Do you still have the fuel separator, etc.? Here's a diagram that might help. Note that there are multiple years covered but the dates applicable to different sections are shown.

But looks like the PO disconnected everything in the engine bay

A functional path to collect those vapors and route them to the intake for use is a nice way to keep your Pig from smelling gassy.
