Very true Mark.

I didn't mean to interject politics. I don't want to corrupt our home here with that. :ban:

At least fuel prices continue to fall. :p

I missed SnT 08 but I had a nice weekend in the SF Bay area - cheap gas helped me enjoy my weekend reality getaway.
These were the gas prices at the Alameda Safeway. I was totally surprised that it was cheaper than Santa Clarita Valley prices considering this was the Bay. I would have some money left over for a massage with a surprise at the end! :grinpimp:

Paid $1.91 yesterday here in the dirty dirty. Much better than the $4.20 for 87 a month ago during our Atlanta "oil crisis". I am sure we will see it rise again once the economy starts back up. This time the falling price was directly attributed to a significant fall in demand globally as credit froze. Regardless who won the election, the economy will straighten out and begin growing agian one day. With that, we will see higher gas prices as demand speeds up. Sure was nice last week when OPEC announced a large cut in production and oil STILL fell $4 a barrel that day. If that is not a fun "F U OPEC", I don't know what is!

Naw I wouldve said to her - For ten dolla morrr, love me long timmmmeee! :hillbilly:

That would of course be if you asked her first "What do we get for $10?" "Everyting you want." "Everything?" "Everyting, Me love you long time." "No boom boom for soul brother!" :grinpimp:

Whoah MO! You are CHEAP..... Don't sell yourself so cheap.

Hey, hey, hey. That was not an offer, just an impersonation!

I cost way more than that. :flipoff2:

Dang Smit, I was happy with $2.65, you just ruined it for me. :flipoff2:

Just filled up the commuter car - just over 11 gallons for $26.50 - $2.39/gallon for regular in Laguna Niguel. Got 31.6 mpg this last tank. Yahoo!!!!

It's nice to fill up the rig for under $60.

It's wasn't long ago that $80 wouldn't even give me a full tank.

Yeah, when I hit $100 to fill up the Cruiser I finally caved and got the Corolla. I will have it paid for in about 3 months, from there it is money in the bank baby. :hillbilly:

Good thing I am married cause couldn't get play driving that thing if I had hundred dollar bills hanging out of my pockets.

Brent, I thought I was brave driving a Corolla wagon but I just realized you drive your Miata through Laguna Beach every day. That takes guts. :flipoff2: I know we already harrased you regarding your, ahem, confidence, but seriously, you don't get harassed in that thing?

Yeah, unfortunately I don't have the AWD, just FWD. But I did do a sweet burnout today. Ok it was on wet polished concrete but she did break loose one front tire. :hillbilly:

I wonder if they make BFG A/Ts in a 14 inch size, some Hellas across the hood, super short coil-overs. Rally Car. :hhmm:

LOL! Nope - never been harrassed...even when I honked in support of No on 8!

$1.99 reported in Cabazon today. Looks like lower prices are headed our way.

Nice...but Cabazon is just a liiiittlllee to far away. Laguna Niguel Shell dropped another dime to $2.29.

Aren't we at or below where prices were before the big fast run up?
