Pumped gas at a local Arco (not the best gas), in Whittier. But @ $2.09 my truck was happy $30 for 14 gallons can't go wrong!!!!!

Everytime I fill up, I keep thinking to myself, "Dont get addicted to this." As much as I enjoy driving my 80, I need to find a gas miser before Summer 2009 comes along.

Im hoping Americans are thinking the same thing. We shouldnt be dependent on this petro. I hate for America to be the bitch that will do anything for a fix...:frown:

i hope gas prices stop falling, this is getting scary. If you look at history this kind of deflation has only been seen once before and that was 1929-1932. So lets hope prices start to rise.

2.07 at Costco in Simi yesterday....heard today it's 1.83 in Pasadena....

so I drove the beast to work today with a smile!

We could certianly use a rebuild of our very aging infrastructure but IIRC the New Deal didn't do much to build infrastructure ;) just more government control. We did get our :beer: back though. :bounce:
 
Funny, I read the same Wilkepedia page before I posted too, just didn't refresh on every detail. Touche.

It did do some good, some not so good so I had to poke a little fun. :D

1.799 at Costco Simi Valley yesterday. I love it, it keeps going down. When it hits $1.50 I am filling up a few 55 Gallon drums.
