^I'd love to have an old power wagon as a tow rig. I wouldn't even restore it much Just make it mechanically sound and let it ride.

Picked up a new baby hauler for the wifey. The Camry just wasn't cutting it.

I loved the V8 4 runner. Super fun to drive and about the same mileage as the 4.0.

Yep. You can def tell a difference with the full time 4WD though. It's not as quick on take off. It's still a blast. So much happier with this than the Camry.

I reset the mpg gauge on the way back from Florida and I was getting close to 20 mpg cruising at 70-75. Not bad.

Sweet V8 4 runner, Sam! Or should I say 100 series SUPERLEGGERA!!!

I just downloaded a 2000 brochure. It says I am supposed to get between 13 and 16. It is the first honest car brochure I have ever read.

Haha! I guess they realized they didn't need to BS Cruiser owners. "Your mileage is going to suck."

I have been disappointed in my BJ70 lately because the MPG's had dropped to 21 (high mileage engine and all). Now I am not feeling so glum. Thanks for the smile guys.

Also of more importance... Sam, very nice looking 4Runner.

Thanks! I'd take 21 in either of many vehicles. I might get 17 avg in the Tundra when I drive it (mostly hwy) and I expect the 4Runner to get 14-15 avg with the wifey driving (all city).

I would jump out of my skin to get 19. The wife's hybrid Accord has been getting worse and worse mileage. It just hit 100K and is averaging under 30. That fxxxing sucks for that car. We actually got as high as 40 years ago on a trip to Virginia and usually averaged about 34. It is usually hovering around 28 now. There is no indication of anything being wrong.
