yep, these are unimog 406 axles and 40" tires.. front diff 3rd member will be relocate, and will trim previous mounts..

v8 engine is not a part of this project, i like 1fzs..

Very cool! Yes that series of axles is called U1300. They should be very reliable in such a light weight 80 series!
