I have been offering this kit for FJ60/FJ62 and FJ80 and have put together a similar kit for the FZJ80's. The kit costs $145.00 shipped (within US). International shipping is available (please PM me).

The kit includes 5 cables and battery terminal connectors.

Kit includes:
Battery to starter cable (with protective boot - not shown in the pictures below)
Negative to block (with 90 degree lug) cable
Negative to chassis cable
Ground strap from head to firewall
Ground strap from battery to fender
1 Mil spec positive battery connector
1 Mil spec negative battery connector
Optional accessory - 1) Battery terminal covers (add $10.00)
2) Abrasion resistant sleeve (add $10.00)
3) Modified new OEM Fusible Link (add $22.00)

Without terminal covers and abrasion sleeve - $145

All cables are constructed from either 1/0 or 4 AWG tinned wire and lugs. Wire is very flexible and jacket is resistant to moisture, oil, chemicals, and has excellent abrasion resistance. Crimped ends are sealed using mil spec heavy duty adhesive lined heat shrink to prevent corrosion.

Email me at tetoncruisers@gmail.com for any questions or to place an order. Custom kits for dual battery setups also available upon request.

I also offer cable kit for various other models. See the links below for those cable kits.

How much longer than stock are the cables? Or are they to length?

BTW the price is pretty damn good. I spent a grip on the dual battery setup to make these.

Emailed!

Mark, the kit looks great! I will hopefully be installing the kit this weekend.

Thanks for the fast shipping and great communication.

Just got the cables, covers and terminal connectors. Awesome workmanship man! I'm glad that I got these. They far better/beefier than the OEM cables.

Awesome job dude!

Mark, do you have a diagram of which cable goes where? If you do, would you please email it me (or it's in one of the threads)? I wanted to get a feel for before I tear it all apart.

Thanks!

Same here...I have been busy with life and baby prep and other LC projects, so I have yet to install. The kit is starring me in the face every time I am in the garage. Most of the cables are straight forward, but I would rather be safe than sorry. Is there a thread where someone has documented the install or like Riad had asked, do you have a diagram of locations?

Cable Install

https://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-tech/539225-fzj80-cable-upgrade.html

Check out my install. You can see the 2major cables - Pos to Starter, Neg to motor mount.

In the Post #1 you will see the old cable(starter & Ground) removed.

In post #2, 1st pic of the starter connection.

In post #3, 1st pic shows Neg to fender ground

I did not install the other 2 ground wire that day.

I installed the 2nd 6awg wire from the Cyclinder head to the firewall. Located on the passenger side of the motor.

The last 1/0 guage ground is not install as of now.

Let me know if you have any questions

-Can you make a set for a 05 4Runner?
-I would also need the longer to reach my yellow top Optima battery.
-I'm putting a red top Optima battery on the other side of the engine bay so I need at least an extra set of the terminals, but I'm unsure what cables I'd need for the second battery since I don't have a dual system yet.
-I also would want the terminal covers for both battery's.

So how much for that?.. Hopefully that wasn't to confusing. :D

Thanks!
