Front Bumper Filler & Radiator Guard for Trimmed GX460 Bumpers

Just started the ideas of front bumper cut and this is exactly what I want to finish the look. I’ll be contacting you soon!

One question: what did you do on your side steps here from your website?

Yeah I have the Expo One as well and really like them, been 2.5 years already. As mentioned you are limited to 33" max tire diameter but I have no plans to go above that.

When you order them you can ask to have the shiny filler plates powder coated as well. They didn't offer black bolts for them at the time not sure if they do now so I purchased 2 boxes of 20 each black oxide 1/4-20 x 3/4" Button Head Socket Cap Bolts Screws from amazon ahead of time. Pleased with how they turned out, and have nothing against the way they come from Expo One either, I was going for the black and white look though.

mtnco will hook you up for protection after you do the bumper cut and you are going to want it. And if I didn't already piecemeal mine together he would be my first choice. In a heartbeat, I like his style LOL.

Question, “mntco”, if you don’t mind. I took a picture under my ‘19 Premium and I can see that I remove the front lower grey fascia piece (“do not cut that bumper area!”) but what do I do with the next piece behind it? Does that stay in place and your cover fits over/under it? Or do I remove it also? Thanks!!

You remove that, along with the three metal brackets underneath. The brackets are riveted on but you just kinda smack them a little bit and they come off.

I believe those are the Expedition One rocker guards.
IMO, they are the most OEM+ looking rocker guards out there with the downside that they limit you to 33" tires.

I have these same sliders from Exp1 and was able to fit 34's with my Icon coilovers and aggressive BMC and alignment. No rub currently.

Looking at it with a clean under photo, I wonder if it helps with cooling? It looks like it's helps direct more air over the radiator and engine.

It’s running pretty cool in all honesty.
Coolant temps are the same but I just did quite a bit of driving in 98-100 degree temps today, around town and interstate and never saw over 172 degree trans temps. Going off of memory in this kind of heat I’m sure I normally saw upper 170s.

I’ll have better data once I drive it in ~90 degree weather. My initial impression leans to a slight improvement if anything.
