Well I did some bartering today and ended up with these for the LC (285/75/16 KM2's with CT&W Steel wheels)...
Info on the wheels can be found here: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/newbie-general-4x4-discussion/686398-crager-soft-8s-help.html

However the back spacing is off and they rub on the steering arm. So now I'm gonna need spacers and I'm sure some of you are going to warn me about them. I have run spacers on our T4R with no issues so I'm not to worried, although I would prefer not run them just cause it's one more mod to maintain.

That said I think we may run these rims and tire for awhile until I can find some OEM rims and buy some skinny tires.

Daniel I've got 5 stock 60 wheels I'll send you if you pay the shipping. They would be coming from San Diego and I wouldn't be able to send them nor get a shipping quote until next week. Let me know.

Although if you find some close to you they might be cheaper than shipping mine...

That's generous of you, are they 15" or 16"? I'm wanting to move up to 16's for the sake of availability of tires everywhere.

-Daniel Kent

Wise choice, they're 15".

Daniel, your doing a great thing! keep it up. I am totally subscribed to this thread looking forward to seeing your progress.

Daniel just FYI but most people in Central and Latin America are driving on 15" wheels. The 16" wheels where standard in Europe and Australia but most off the latin versions run on 15"

If you could find a set of BFG 33x9.5 that would be ossom for that BJ60 or a set of Super Swamper LTB's they are a bit heavier and diagonal cords so your first mile is always a wobbly one;) but they do work offroad.

The BFG's will last you a lot longer though.

BTW I have a bunch of the OEM 15" alloy 80 wheels here.not the prettiest ones but you will be keeping a low profile vs some "bling" wheels and easy to find replacements if necessary

Key is to build a truck that does it all without getting to much attraction from the wrong people.

Joe

I hear ya on the alloys, but I really wanna run steel rims for my own good feelings. As for the 15" vs 16" I'm gonna call my partner down there cause as I remember it most of the newer vehicles were running 16's, however that's not really where my mind was at so I'm likely to be wrong. :) I'll let you know my findings, but I do agree with you on the tall and skinnies, especially for expo driving vs crawling. Thank you sir!!!

about 15" vs 16" down here 15" tires are still cheaper than 16" ..

Really! Still readily available vs stateside harder to get in what you want? Thanks!

Yes.

Looks like it has long add-a-leaves front and rear then an extended shackle in the rear as well. Not a bad combo, look at the bushings and maybe replace or grease up. Some decent shocks may be worth looking at.

The side marker lights below the G seem weird in that the lenses pop in vs screwing in like "normal"... just thought it seemed abnormal. Thank you for the answers!

oh, I was on my phone and missed that you asking about the lights... I don't know, doubt it. Are they lit?

They come on with the blinker but they don't look anything like OEM. Here's a close up...
