I sure do and I was trying to figure out how to get them to you at URE. Now, I can give these to dohcdelsol and then arrange for his to get to you at URE.

dohcdelsol, the shackles are new Downey off-road plate shackles with pins. Never been used. If you're interested, when would be good to meet up? I'm in Simpsonville, and work in Laurens.

Anyone else wanna mudship some shackles from Greenville to URE at the end of the month?

I live in simpsonville now, near 5 forks. I can meet up at pretty much any evening this week except Wed night. If your the dark grew wagon along that way from greenville i think i pass your place on a daily basis.

My 2 shackles are new in the box as well, just came in Tues. I'll even give you the HFS sticker and zip ties that came in the box. Comes with all the hardware needed (bolts/washers/nuts). They do not require extended brake cables with stock springs.

How much longer over stock shackles are the downy shackles? I did a quick yahoo search on them and found nothing.

I may be coming up to Pelzer on Sat. if that works.

Sat i work until noon in Berea and i think the wifey has plans for me that evening so meeting up after work before i head home would work. I'll be taking the bike but i dont think they will be too heavy in a backpack.

This sunday i don't have a hockey game and my boat won't be running until i get new exh. divider gaskets so that leaves me free to meet up sunday after church.

Only going up to bring back a friends car, should be around noon or a little after.

ok. where about in pelzer will you be? Kind of a big area from spearmen elementary to the hwy 20 bilo.

I'll PM you my number so we can talk/text the details.

The wife has a dinner party we have to attend at 4 so i have to be back in simpsonville to get ready and back to berea for the party at 4 so i'll have plenty of time between twelve and two to squeeze in a quick parts swap across town and maybe still have time for my afternoon nap.

Where are you in Simpsonville? I really want to study your vacuum lines (or lack of vacuum lines) if you don't mind.

Thanks,
Scott

I'm not sure Downey makes any LC shackles anymore, but I think that they are 1 - 1.5" over stock, can't remember exactly. I'm in S'ville off Fairview (near Publix), got your PM, will give you a call tomorrow.

I am off of roper mtn rd. about a mile from 5 forks. Walking distance from Oakview.

My 86 is completely desmogged aswell but all Vac lines are in working order if you want to look at them.

I am in Powderhorn (behind Hillcrest Hospital) so I will get with you soon, matter of fact I appreciate all of the offers and will probably take you all up on them. I have been ordering parts like crazy so it's about time to get to work. (Right after I get back from the beach next week.).

Carp has a set he was going to give to me, I'll trade you for them

I met Joshua last night and the shackles are the same length, so no trade. I won't be back in town until mid afternoon Saturday. If you think you might still be in town, PM me your number and I'll call you when I get back in town. If not, I will try to find them a ride to URE.

yeah, sucks the shackles are the same size.

If any one has a two 1" to 1-1/2" over stock shackles (new or used) i will trade them two new 2-1/2" over stock He11 For Stout shackles.

I'm interested...do me a huge favor and measure them pin to pen (center of each pin) and get back to me with the measurements so we can be sure of the size. I hated making Carp go out of his way the other night just to find out his shackles were the same legenth as mine.

I found that the rear stock FJ60 shackles are a little bigger than the fronts so thats what i'm running in the front now with the HFS in the rear. With saggy rear springs it gives me an almost perfect ride height for my 31" tires however, once i get some more spare pocket change and put some AAL's on the back i will need a slightly bigger shackle in the front and the HFS would still be too long and i'm trying to avoid the whole saggy rear end look.

Need a chevy engine adapter kit for the cruiser....time to start getting stuff together for the swap

looking for a used one....dont' care what brand so long as it's the bell housing style...dont' care if i have to use GM or toyota slave cylinder

I have a Downey v-8 bellhousing. But I think it's for a 3spd or a sm420.
