What your selling the 62?

Well after much grief and agony......my 62 is.......SOLD! Guy who uised to be affiliated with UC bought it this afternoon at lunch. I will be posting the few parts that didnt go with it in a week or so.

Extra parts left over from my 62:

-60 series Front axle housing - $40
-Front and rear sway bars from 62 - $80
-Third row (tan vinyl) for a 60/62 - $250
-Adjustable vents from a 60 - $15
-Super White headlight set for 62 (4 lights) - $20
- New Toyota OEM O2 sensor for 3fe (fj62) - $75-100? I cant remember what these cost at RH, but Ill beat their price. I bought it from there and never installed it.
- Bug guard (red) that should fit 60/62 - $10

That's all I can think of for now, I am sure a few more things will turn up.

I started a new thread in the Part Out section of mud please refer there:

Parting out a 1988 FJ62.....

I will be keeping the Drivetrian (engine, axles, wheels and tires) except for the tranny and t/case

the 62 has 235k miles on it but came from California so no rust issues!!! At the moment I am only looking to sell the body panels and interior bits all the elecrical and mechanical will stay intact until after I pull the engine and axles.

The body panels with the exception of the rear quarters and one dented door are in fantastic shape. Take a look at the pictures and let me know if you have any questions.

I wanted to offer this stuff up to the club first to see if there was any need; if no one is interested I will throw it out on the main mud board to be scavenged :hillbilly:

All the proceeds will be going to my 40 resto/mod

After being back up north for a while, I gotta say it's shame to part out such a solid rig. I bet you could sell or trade+cash with someone from the salt belt, make some money and end up with a more "suitable" donor rig.

just sayin'.... :meh:

dang putting the guilt trip on me :frown:

yes parting out such a clean rig made me think twice but it is just the easiest solution for me right now, plus I know this cruiser and especially the condition of the drive trian.

and rust free cruisers aren't that rare once you cross the rockies:grinpimp:

so what is the price for the whole shootin match, minus the engine, tranny/tcase, & axles?
