This is the seller https://www.facebook.com/onesimo.garza3

edit: I just saw your post about contacting him. Best of luck!

we'll see. he wants local pickup only, which might be arranged and is understandable as impossible to ship that awkward sized fiberglass cap. issue is i can't seem to find anyone that only wants to sell the cap as "stand alone".

If I were you, I'd start a thread in the local chapter there and see if someone would be willing to check it out for you... and if it looks good, start a thread in the main forum looking to see if someone from that direction is headed towards Texas and could "mud ship" here for you. It'll take some finagling to get it but, well, these things are pretty hard to find. I got an ARB bumper for a 80s truck that way once year ago from Idaho. Good luck.

Yeah, i'll follow up to see if he is willing to separate or wants to only sell cap with sides.

I'll be in Colorado in a few weeks but not in that area. I imagine strapping a 40 roof to a 40 roof would be pretty funny.

LOL..i can imagine it would be quite the sight. I have a lead on a cheap one in San Marcos, but it has a "sunroof" cut into it. Why?!!!!

Pat, have you seen pics of the San Marcos top? Be sure it's not this guy, before you commit to buy.o_O

Cutting a sunroof into a removable top? :-/

That photo looks polyurethane foam, construction gap filler.

I've got some seats from a 1971 FJ40 I'm interested in selling. They've been nicely restored and then recovered in very nice leather with a personalized design.

I'm planning to put them on ebay, but I thought I'd give fellow TLCA members a first shot at them.

I have a hard time enjoying the bitterness of IPA beers. India Pale Ale beers are very bitter so any beer that is not bitter is good.
But I do believe I have a buyer for my gearbox.

@FrankTorres I also don't care for traditional IPAs, but I do like a double IPA- which is counter-intuitive, but as I understand, they add more malt to offset something. At the end of the day, it makes it more bearable to my palate.

Nothing wrong with having different beer tastes. I love IPA's, but I also love stouts and Munich style Helles beers.

My wife is the same. Doesn't like IPA, but can drink a DIPA. I agree, I think it has more sweetness to it, which offsets the bitterness. The additional sweetness is the higher ABV (generally).
