I stopped by AmToy to pick up some parts yesterday. They had a 2016 4R Trail. I really should not have looked at it. Sure glad it was way outside my bank account and budget.

then you should turn your head away from this one at U Sell it on menaul/vassar. I said DON'T LOOK, damn it!!!

up the road

I've driven a few new 4Runners. Land Cruisers have ruined them for me. Not even close.
I own both and I've driven a 5th gen as a rental. I concur. But at least the wife and kids now drive the 'expendable' one and my garage queen has been relegated to occasional towing/hauling/wheeling/camping duties.

My LC has become a bench warmer too, I recently picked up a used Subie Crosstrek for day-to-day duties

WTB: Stock torsion bars from a non-AHC 100 series Land Cruiser.

Anybody lifted their hundy and have stock TBs laying around?

oh yes

oh yes

That is quite the project. They had to have a damn big shoehorn the get that straight six under the hood, not to mention the bodywork involved in grafting a pickup bed on the arse end of a 4Runner. Also, not often you hear the words Toyota and drag racing in the same sentence!

It would be fun!

Just another guy whose unrealistic expectations collided with reality!
