5,080 pounds (lbs) with 5/8th tank of gas and no spare tire and dual batteries, no towing kit.

In the world of built 80's 5000lbs is like supermodel skinny. I'm pushing 7000lbs with me and a full tank of gas.

gonna get lighted today b/c am setting it up on Nitto 285/75/16 D rated tires...will reweigh just for fun b/c the weigh station is near by work

All my years of MTB and XC biking have conditioned me to wanting light weight parts... LOL.

This LC be tricky. ;)

My LC isn't a "Mall Queen" but let's face it I live in the low country with little chance of hitting a boulder or anything cool like that so I don't want to be a poser. :worms:

Or "try" to come across as Outback Jack... One day I will visit some of those places. So I am looking to add a few items to my rig, like do a modded stock front and rear bumper, but keep it fairly close to stock from a outside appearance. I like to have my spare tucked under the rear.

next in line...

welcome

vehicle washing is overrated :hillbilly:

It would cut into your storage/wetsuit area, but a internal spare (like the Slee "stripper pole") - would get the job done. Just something that ties together the 3rd row grab handle mount to the lower hinge insert for the seat, then mount off that vertical structure a solid adapter that bolts the wheel. Then you don't have a 100# missile in the event of panic stop or accident.

You had me at hello
