This looks like a great solution! Thanks for offering the brackets to those of us who are too far away to use your shop.

In your opinion, what looks better in the grey fj60/62 interior: black or grey BMW seats? Also, have you tried other than the 3 series?

I think the black looks the best. The grey looks good but would be perfect if the grey was a little darker. Cant go wrong with either one though.

They are getting harder to find so whatever you come across that are in good shape I wouldn't pass on them.

is a 2003 m3 considered a 3 series? found some grey seats from one. I really know nothing about these cars so want to make sure they'll work.

Im pretty sure the M3 use the same mounting points and seat rails. One of the reasons we don't use them is they have high bolsters to keep you secure in the seat. When you step down into the seat it isn't a problem. With the cruisers you have to go up and over them and over time it will wear that bolster down or you will get sick of getting in it like that.

what size bolts are best to use in connecting the seats to the brackets?

We use M10's and the 10.9 which is grade 8 equivalent.

SFD60, we only sold a couple for $60 at a loss to make sure they fit other people's cruisers.

FYI, the ones we have available right now will be the last ones we make. There's not enough demand, and the fabricator won't make these in low numbers anymore.

We will probably make these on a case by case basis in the future (or for group buys). It just doesn't make sense to make them if we can't get production numbers up to cover costs.

Unfortunately they don't work for the older 60's. I have an '84 and I am fabbing up my own bracket to put in some Honda Civic seats. it isn't as easy as you would think. I wish I had a solution like this for mine, like would be so much easier.....

Have 8-'85 60. By any chance do you have any brackets available for sale ?

Thanks, John

Do they work easily on FJ62s? I know there are slight floorpan differences... Thanks!

@torfab do you know if the dimensions are different for 5 series seats? I have a chance to get a set of seats from an E60 and wondering if your brackets would work......will do some checking on my end as well......
