What amazes me is that he is smiling after doing that to his 55 (on level road)

He's just that kind of guy. Smiling and happy. Afterall, we pulled another guy off that trail this weekend, and he wasn't so lucky. Granted he was on and ATV, but he was hurt. Believe it or not, Trail 1, flat and seemingly easy, claims the most damage in the entire OHV area. Get going a little fast and just blink and whoops, you are over the edge and into a tree, if you are lucky. If you are not lucky, you are into the River.
 
So it is officialy off to the body shop. It drove there under its own power so now it is time for the body guys to do their thing.

We got the down pipes w the engine. The intake and exhaust manifolds are factory non us 3F parts.
 
I have the 3F manifolds.

I HAD the 7X down pipe that went with them, but saw no chance that it'd fit without boring a hole through the firewall, but don't know if it'd have been the same down pipe for 60 and 70s.

Thinking I'll try to find flanges that'll mate up and have the exhaust built back from there, since I can't find an example that worked.

It fits ok in Terry's truck. It's cut just below the top of the frame and run into a single pipe.

I had one that came with the manifold purchase, but sold for pennies on the dollar, thinking it's never fit.

You can guess how much one costs new....

The trials and tribulations of the village idiot never cease to amaze, eh?
 
Freshened up interior and carpet. Fresh paint on most of the front end and doors.

Stock bumper placement without the pto extensions. Custom winch plate to make it all fit.

He put about 100k miles on it since 2014.
