Ohhhhh, That's where that Venezuelan spec 3F went to that we shipped to Georgia! That engine came out of the old "Princess".

Nice looking 55............. but why go to the trouble for the 3F? A 3FE is a helluva nice engine with a H55F behind it.

its very very nice, uber clean and georgeus, but ultimate ??

My thoughts exactly. I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder (ie, the one that be holdin' it).

I would have preferred the 3FE if it were mine. Actually, I take that back, it would have to be diesel for me to even consider it in the "ultimate" category.

Oh baby!!! Spring over, straight skin, 3f? h55, drool, drool. gray trim pieces? Strange, she looks ready to go 4 wheelin except the body is oh so stock seems a shame. She sure is a beaut though. you gonna make her go one way or the other? Whats your plans. I know one thing, she looks like a caged animal up on that trailer. Let her out!

that is one lovely piggy........was that the 3f out of exiled's pig before he went diesel?
:hillbilly:she be too purdy to go wheeling <hehehehe>
congrats;

Help a brother out - does the 3F fit behind the stock radiator?

Yes it does just not with any fan bolted to it.

What waterpump and fan are you using?

Pics of fan clearance?

Everything on the front of the motor is stock 3F or 3FE just no smog pump.

It looks like I am going to have to use an electric fan as a pusher. To complicate things more I also have to fit an AC condencer in front of the radiator so I spaced the radiator an 1"1/2 towards the engine so that i will have room to fit it all behind the grill.

awsome build.......just a word on motors out of Venezuela; if that was the Venezuelan 3F they don't use antifreeze there so there is a lot of internal corrosion and I think I can detect some on the thermostat inlet........lovely job Mike; think I ran in to you at Urban LCs a few months ago:cheers:,

If it was Henry's old 3F, i'm pretty sure he used antifreeze.

when I was in that area "Venezuela" there was non available........maybe later on there was but not that I was aware of in the mid 70s ...........and I looked for it when I was there;)

Why did you have to space radiator back?

Didn't they keep radiator in same place for factory AC'd Pigs?

Same problems here in Guatemala. Coolant, not antifreeze, is available but lots of folks don't use it because there is no short term problems by not using it. I have seen metal parts from engines here that look like swiss cheese! They literally have pin holes all through them due to corrosion!
