Whoa! That looks awesome. I came into the shop a little over a week ago and saw it in just primer. Coming along nicely!

That was a different 55 (https://forum.ih8mud.com/40-55-series-tech/461261-acc-fzj55-build.html). This truck hasn't been inside our shop for almost 3 years.

I finally got Terry's FJ55 back in the shop and the plan is to drive it to Arizona for the Overland Expo by April 1st so that gives me less than 2 weeks to get everything wrapped up and ready to go.
I was able to get all 4 doors mostly assembled today and plan to get the tailgate wired up and installed tomorrow. After that its on to Stereo and AC inverter and trailer wiring.

Still needs marker lights and a few other trim bits installed. We have new OEM wheels but the 33x10.50x15 KM2s are back-ordered till april 15th ish.
Where can a guy get that headliner? I love it!
Those seats are making me drool on my keyboard. I think they would match the almond color I'm painting the inside of mine almost perfectly. Headliner is great too. Purrty!!!

The headliner is custom. Your upholstery shop should be able to make one for you. It matches the door panels.
I got the CD player installed along with all 4 speakers which was a lot harder than it sounds. I was also able to get the tailgate assembled and working good enough for the moment. Drained the 3 year old gas, repaired the gauge wiring and filled it up with some new fuel and a new filter.
T Minus 10 days till its off for the Overland Expo.

I took the rollers off and installed these for now. It will get OEM hubcaps w/ 33x10.50 KM2s as soon as the tires are available.
What are those seats from?? Looking good...

Fronts are "Procar Elite" in tan which are about imposable to find and the rear is a recovered stock bench.
I saw it in person yesterday, and while not a color I would pick, it does really look nice. Kind of piggy meets hotrod. If that sucker had my interior in it it would be the ultimate hog-rod!
I thought, I would see a roll cage, this time.
