FJ55 door hinge bushings...any interest?

I made some bushings for FJ40 door hinges and the question came up about whether they would fit FJ55 doors. I know that they do not. I can make different size bushings. Is there any interest in these for FJ55s?

FJ 55s would need 16 bushings, right- there are 2 on each hinge, no? Regardless, I'm guessing that I'm already on your list of prospectives...AND IF NOT, then sign me up, please.

The price would depend on the demand. I would hope to keep the price low. If I can sell 60+ sets, then it should be the same price.

Can someone post a picture of one so I can get a general idea of it's size?

There are already a few options using bronze bushings. There's a Napa kit, which includes the bushing & pin, which I used on my rebuild. And, there's a sleeve kit which you provide the bolts. I believe prices & sizes have been posted in this thread:

the issue is that the hinge body and the pin wear out when the bushing wears out... much worse than fj40 hinge pins.

If you were going to get these made, I would *highly* recommend making a oversized OD on the bushing, and a new pin as well. The hinges arent real friendly to oversized bushings if not worn out, so a reamer would need to be included, but they can be had from MSCdirect and other companies.
